Summary

Part-time during my IT career, I accumulated many years of stage experience as a musician, MC, and in a bit of theater. I also made a lot of short videos on my own. After a year of retirement, I decided to start gaining more experience on set.

During my first year as a volunteer (and sometimes paid) actor, I participated in over thirty shoots. Most were student short films, but there were also some more ambitious productions, even a low-budget feature film and two commercials, one of which was for television.

I played a variety of characters, from a jaded reverend to an ex-cop turned hitman, as well as demanding, compassionate, or manipulative fathers, opportunistic or empathetic teachers, a repentant rapist, an awkward elementary school principal, and an antisocial bowler.

In the fall of 2025, I took the Level 3 Performance course at Ateliers Fichaud without needing to take Levels 1 and 2 thanks to the quality of my audition 😎. I also took the Text Analysis course with Danielle Fichaud, and I am currently taking the On-Camera Acting course with Alexandre Dubois.

An interesting project in which I played the father of an artist reacting to his son's first listen to his new album.

Ryan Akler-Bishop is a real musician who actually released a new album and had agreed to make a "Dad Reacts" style video, but since he had lost contact with his father, he hired me to play him.

The entire conversation was improvised after Ryan shared a description of his father's personality, or at least, what he remembered of him after 15 years of no contact.
